Police in Bauchi State announced the arrest of two suspects in connection with the attack on the PDP Secretariat during Usman Adamu Sufi's affirmation as governorship candidate. The suspects, identified as Hamza Abdullahi, known as "Dawa," and Abdul Malik Dahiru, known as "Black," were named as having led the assault that saw parked vehicles smashed and party property destroyed. Both were transferred to the Violent Crime Response Unit for further investigation, with police confirming they would be charged to court once the process was complete.
