The African Democratic Congress accused the Tinubu administration of deepening hardship, poverty and insecurity across Nigeria, arguing that three years of the current APC government's policies have left ordinary citizens worse off on nearly every measure that matters to daily life. The party pointed to the compounding effects of fuel subsidy removal, currency depreciation and stalled job creation, saying government messaging about macroeconomic stabilisation rings hollow for households struggling to afford food, transport and rent. The criticism added to a growing chorus from opposition parties, including the PDP, that the human cost of the administration's reforms has been understated.
